Trustworthy maths

Every lye calculation is verified decimal-place accurate against SoapCalc and SoapmakingFriend. The numbers you weigh out are safe numbers.

🧱

Mould optimiser

Tell Soap Studio your mould dimensions and target bar weight. It finds the best cut plan — loaves, bars per loaf, cutting diagram — and never proposes a bar lighter than your target.

📓

Batch journal

Log every batch with dates, temperatures, notes, and photos. Recipes are snapshot-stored, so your history survives even if you later change or delete a recipe.

🌿

No barriers

Nothing blocks calculation. No mandatory fields, no forced workflows, no accounts. Start a recipe, get your lye weights — done. Advanced features earn their place behind toggles.

Built by a soaper, for soapers

Soap Studio started as a port of a trusted Excel lye calculator that had been refined over years of real soapmaking. The goal was simple: take something mathematically solid and make it feel like a creative workshop instead of a spreadsheet.

The app is free to the soapmaking community. It works offline — in your kitchen, your shed, wherever you make soap. No adverts, no subscriptions, no cloud dependency.
